Document Description
Eight sites of levee damages occured on Ryer Island during the "El Nino" floods inthe winter and spring of 1998. Repairs will be accomplished by excavating the levee slope to firm ground, then placing compacted pit tun rock material beneath riprap to restore the levee profile. There will be no significant adverse environmental impacts associated with this project because appropriate avoidance or mitigation measures will be implemented.
