Document Description
This project will repair levee damage occurring during the "El Nino" floods of 1998. Rock revetment at the toe of the levee was eroded on eight sites varying from 40 to 220 feel long and totaling 1, 135 linear feet in length. This will be rehabilitated by placing large riprap at and below the waterline to rebuild a stable levee toe. Revegetation measures will mitigate for any minor adverse impacts to water quality, fish and wildlife.
