Document Description
Reclamation District 17 is located along the right (east) bank of the San Joaquin River just south of the City of Stockton in San Joaquin County. Flooding in January 1997 caused erosion damage or seepage through this levee. This project will repair 18 landside seepage and boil sites and one 106 foot long waterside erosion site. Mitigation accomplished by replanting vegetation on-site and acquiring and developing two acres of riparian scrub-shrub habitat off-site, will reduce the effects of project construction to less than significant.
