DTSC has deemed adequate the Closure Plan & Post-Closure Plan for closure of 11 burn pits, formerly used to burn solid rocket propellant, on a 17 acrea site. Nine of the eleven pits have been remediated to residential health based exposure standards and will not require post-closure care or monitoring.
