Along with Caltrans and Federal Highway Administration, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority proposes to widen and improve interstate 880 between First Street and the Montague Expressway in the City of San Jose, Santa Clara County, California. VTA will prepare an Initial Study/Environmental Assessment (IS/EA) according to CEQA and NEPA guidelines. VTA expects that the eventual environmental document will be a Mitigated Negative Declaration/Finding of No Significant Impact (ND/FONSI).
