Document Description
The Cahnning-Bowditch Student Housing project would provide 228 beds in a three and four story wood frame building of approximately 72,522 gross square feet (gsf) on a 0.75 acre site located two blocks from the Berkeley Central Campus on Channing Way just west of Bowditch Street. The proposed 228 beds are mostly double occupancy bedrooms. Bedrooms will be distributed in studio, 2,3 and 4 bedroom units. Three modular building 7,748 assignable square feet (asf) with campus administrative and research offices and 27 parking spaces that currently occupy the site would be removed.
