Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA #6-2001-175) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Tucalota Hills Associates, LLC. The applicant proposes to develop a residential project on a 607.8 acre site, which provides for single-family residential, commercial, and park and recreation uses and will preserve 17.7 acres in natural open space. The overall gross density of the project will be 3.0 dwelling units per acre. Two blue line drainages traverse the site, one of which traverses the southern corner of the site. A jurisdictional swale is located adjacent to this tributary, and the other blue line enters the site from the east through an existing culvert and traverses through the central portion of the site. CDFG jurisdiction totals approximately 2.30 acres, of which 0.51 acre (0.46 acre is wetland) will be permanently impacted as a result of the proposed road crossings and the expansion of an existing fifth crossing. Due to periodic maintenance activities, which are expected to expand no more than 70 feet upstream and 70 feet downstream, an estimated total of 0.44 acre will be temporarily impacted.
