Restoration of 1000 acres of inactive salt evaporation ponds to tidal marsh and managed seasonal wetlands. Project will involve dredging of tidal channels, construction and removal of levees, and installation of water control structures. Project will enhance habitat for endangered species and other wetland associated fish and wildlife. Identification of a Bay Trail alignment through the project site and assessment of associated impacts.
