Document Description
The projet would extend Vasona light rail transit line 1.6 miles to complete the originally planned Vasona LRT Corridor. The extension would begin at the existing Winchester Station in Campbell and continue to the Town of Los Gatos. The project includes construction of double RT tracks, relocation of the existing frieght track to the east of the new light rail tracks, increased parking capacity at the existing Winchester Station, construction of a new Hacienda Station/optional park-and-ride facility and Vasona Junction Station/park and ride facility, construction of new bus stops, and extension of the platforms at the existing Winchester, Campbell, Hamilton, Bascom, Fruitdale and Race Street stations to accommodate three-car trains.
