DWR proposes a maintenance project involving the excavation of 2 million cubic yards of sediment from a maximum of 750 acres of seasonally flooded land within the Colusa Bypass. The resulting spol material will be placed over a max of 200 acres of upland, adjacent to the maintenance area. The project should begin in May, 1999 and end in November, 2000.
