Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to initiate a flood mitigation project in the community of Cambria to address overbank flooding of the West Village from Santa Rosa Creek and internal drainage problems from overland flows from the hills to the north of the commercial section of the village. The proposed action entails two components. The first component addresses the flooding from Santa Rosa Creek by creating a floodwater bypass in an unpopulated vacant field adjacent to Highway 1. The second component includes the construction of the gravity pressure storm drain and pumping plant to convey hillside runoff to Santa Rosa Creek.
