Document Description
The San Diego Regional Water quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2014-0075) to the project applicant. The applicant proposes to perform over-water work to demolish the former Bay Cafe building, resurface the remaining 2,400 square feet platform, and install safety railing and seating to convert the area to a public viewing platform as part of the Phase I of the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan, Coastal Access Features Project. Protective measures will be taken to ensure that materials do not enter the water or activities create turbidity thereby impacting the resources of San Diego Bay.
