Document Description
The project is a joint effort by the City of Sacramento and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to bring fish to the screen at the Sacramento River Water Treatment Plant (WTP) into compliance with current National Marine Fisheries Service and California Department of Fish and Game screening criteria. The existing Sacramento River WTP intake structure cannot accommodate the new requirments; therefore, along the Sacramento River, the project involves construction of an 180 foot long new intake structure, fitted with new screens and screen cleaning system.
