The Lodi Gas Storage project consists of natural gas storage facilities located at Lodi, San Joaquin County, and 33 miles of natural gas transmission pipeline stretching from Sherman Island in Sacramento County. The project will result in impacts to the winter-run Chinook salmon, Delta smelt, giant garter snake, and the Swainson's hawk, which are protected under the California Endangered Species Act, requiring issuance of a California Incidental Take Permit ("Permit").
