THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS THE DELIVERY OF CENTRAL VALLEY PROJECT (CVP) CONTRACT WATER TO WESTLANDS WATER DISTRICT (WWD) AND SANTA CLARA VALLEY WATER DISTRICT (SCVWD) NDER A JOINT PARTIAL CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT FROM MERCY SPRINGS WATER DISTRICT TO WWD, SCVWD AND THE PAJARO VALLEY WATER MANAGEMENT AGENCY. THE WATER FROM THE CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT WILL SUPPLEMENT WWD, SCVWD CURRENT CVP SUPPLIES AND WILL BE USED TO HELP REDUCE WATER SUPPLY DEFICITS AND PROVIDE GREATER FLEXIBILITY IN WATER DELIVERIES.
