Document Description
This project will update an existing trail at the USFS/Lake Tahoe Visitor Center complex on Highway 89. The project entails upgrading the existing facilities in order to improve access, in compliance with ADA requirements, and constructing a new 400-ft, wooden, wildlife-viewing platform that extends from the existing asphalt trail. ADA retrofitting includes installing an interpretive program interactive system (CD ROM) that will assist the visually impaired.
