Document Description
Capitol Improvement Project No. 98001 - Merced County Probation Department - To construct a 445-bed Juvenile Justice Correctional Complex (JJCC). The first phase of the JJCC would be for 270 minors with a projected build-out by the year 2020. Approximately 16 acres of the 26-acre is fallow with the westerly 10-acre portion planted in a new almond orchard. The county's existing Adult Correctional Facility is adjacent to the northeast.
