Document Description
Proposed project involves oil and gas operations; construction, maintenance, and/or abandonment of oil field equipment; activities, maintenance, and inspection required by agencies; and any activity required to mitigate an emergency situation or effects of an emergency situation. Project will result in impacts to 1,400 acres of Bakersfield cactus (Opuntia basilaris var. treleasei), San Joaquin antelope squirrel (Ammospermophilus nelsoni), giant kangaroo rat (Dipodomys ingens), Tipton kangaroo rat (D. nitratoides nitratoides), and San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of San Joaquin kit fox and San Joaquin antelope squirrel, designated as threatened species under the CESA, and Bakersfield cactus, giant kangaroo rat, and Tipton kangaroo rat, designated as endangered species under CESA. The ITP Minor Amendment No. 2 referenced above transfers the ITP to Sentinel Peak Resources Ca., LLC and changes appropriate contact information.
