Project consists of th esale and transfer of one (1) residential development right from COnservancy-owned land to a receiving parcel on which a single family residence will be permitted. The transfer enables the receiving landowner to carry out the project withoug any net increase in residential density in the Tahoe Basin.

The transfer of a residential developement right will permit construction of a single family residence which is categorically exempt under Class 3 (construction of new, small structures): retirement of the development right on the sendign parcel is exempt under Class 5 (minor alterations in land use limitations), and Class 17 (open space contracts or easements).
