Project consists of repairing the roadway, parking lots, and slope protection that was damaged during the El Nino storms of 1997/1998 at Emma Wood State Beach. There are three locations at which repairs will take place: Location 1 is along the west side of the park road just south of the park entrance, Location 2 is farther south along the park road on the east side, and Location 3 is south of that along the western side of the park road. The project will repair the damaged facilities to their pre-storm conditions, installing 519 cubic yards of rip rap and constructing a 80 x 14 foot roadway patch at Location 1, constructing a 400 x 6 foot roadway shoulder and placing 2 inch Class II base for a 110 x 180 foot parking lot at Location 2, and removing and replacing seven 12 x 20 foot asphalt parking pads at location 3.
