Expansion of the existing waste transfer station located in Eureka, California, for a proposed solid waste recovery and transfer station to be constructed by the Humboldt Waste Management Authority (HWMA). The expanded transfer station will provide transfer of municipal solid waste by rail or transfer truck; accept municipal solid wastes from public haulers and from franchise/ commercial haulers; offer residential waste recovery through a recycling drop-off center; and offer a household hazardous waste facility to residents and small businesses to recover these wastes for proper disposition.
