Document Description
The project proposes to add auxiliary lanes to Route 101 in the northbound and southbound directions from Marsh Road Interchange (KP 5.8) in the City of Menlo Park to the Hillsdale Boulevard Interchange (KP 17.9) in the City of San Mateo. Auxiliary lanes will facilitate weaving, speed changes, and maneuvering of traffic entering and exiting the freeway, thereby improving operational efficiency and reducing congestion. The projct includes sound barriers to accommodate the widening. HOV bypass lands will also be added at several on-ramps.
