NOTE: Shortened Review Per Lead / Subsequent MND The Customs House Retail/Commercial Office Building Acquisition and Modification of Use involves a request to the Placer County Community Development and Resource Agency Planning Department for the approval of a Minor Use Permit in order to utilize an existing 2 story retail/commercial office building for uses classified as government offices. This 11,400 +/- sf building, constructed in 2007, is situated on an ~0.61 acre site (APN 094-110-021) located on the northeast corner of Hwy 29 and Jack Pine Street in Tahoe City, with approvals for retail and professional office uses. The building previously housed a Starbucks Coffee establishment but is now only leased to 2 professional offices. The remainder of the building is vacant. A 30 space parking lot for the building occupants is located at the rear of the property.
