The project will expand property boundaries by 50.01 acres and the Public Facilities (PF) land use designation at the 95-acre site leased from LADWP in Long Valley to allow installation and maintenance of environmental monitoring devices and drainage facilities, to provide borrow resources to meet cover needs for the landfill's lifespan, and to permit a variety of landfill activities on site to meet the needs of waste disposal requirements through the year 2023.
