The EDCP will use a combination of chemical and mechanical methods (the aquatic herbicides Reward and Sonar and mechanical harvesting) to control Egeria densa in these waterways. Also included in this Draft EIR is a two-year research project on the environmental consequences of using copper as a control agent.
