The Department of Boating and Waterways has been legislatively mandated to develop a control program for the nuisance aquatic weed Egeria Densa in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The Department intends to carry out this responsibility by establishing an ongoing mechanical and chemical maintenance control treatment program for the weed, with the goal of reducing plant biomass.
