The California Department of Transportation proposes to realign a portion of Salt Creek at Route 5 by constructing a trapezoid channel 2.4 to 5.2 metes (7.9 to 17.2 feet) deep for an approximate length of 860 meters (2838 feet) utilizing the existing downstream Parkhurst Equipment Undercrossing to convey stream flows under Route 5.
