Document Description
The proposed project is a water reclamation project that would clean secondary, treated wastewater to drinking water standards, allowing its use for groundwater recharge, injection into a seawater intrusion barrier, and for landscape irrigation and industrial process water. The project would supply a reliable, local water supply to meet increased demands, improve groundwater quality, defer construction of an ocean outfall, and reduce wastewater flows.
