- NOTE: EIR/EIS The Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) Modified Phase II Expansion would increase the treatment capacity of the GWRS from 60,000 AFY to 95,000 AFY of treated new water supplies. The GWRS Modified Phase II improvements involves a combination of expansion of existing water treatment facilities, demolition of existing structures and construction of new water treatment facilities. The Modified Phase II Expansion includes a design modification that involves the construction of two flow equalization storage tanks on the Orange County Sanitation District wastewater treatment site that were not proposed and evaluated in the Final EIR/EIS.
