THE PROJECT IS A TEMPORARY ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FOR GEOLOGICAL TESTING FOR A BRIDGE SEISMIC RETROFIT PROJECT BEING CONDUCTED BY THE CITIES OF DEL MAR AND SAN DIEGO FOR CALTRANS BRIDGE NO. 57C-207, SORRENTO OVERHEAD. FIVE BORINGS TO DEPTHS OF 30 OR 60 FEET WILL BE AUGERD, THE BORE HOLES BACKFILLED. NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS TO NATURAL OR CULTURAL RESOURCES ARE ANTICIPATED BT THIS PROJECT.
