El Dorado County has developed a Master Plan for the use of the Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor. This 28-mile rail corridor is proposed for a variety of recreation and transportation uses, including: natural, improved, and paved multi-purpose trails; excursion rail and personal rail car use; underground utility easements; and routine maintenance activities. Proposed udes vary by location within the corridor as defined in the Master Plan.
