Document Description
Establish a mixed feedstock composting facility on a 40-acre parcel of the 80-acre property. The compost facility will be designed to receive and process a combined total of up to 700 tons per day (TPD) if greenwaste, food waste, vegetable waste, paper, liquid waste, manure, and unspecified miscellaneous waste. The facility will have a design capacity of 346,000 tons and the maximum amount of active compost, feedstocks, and finished product on site at one time will be 725, 500 cubic yards. Composting will be accomplished in windows, and in static piles on a pilot basis. Operating hours will be 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with public access from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The facility will receive up to 56 vehicles per day.
