Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0179-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the San Bernardino County Flood Control District. The project is limited to the maintenance and repair of existing facilities within San Timoteo Creek in Federal Reaches 1, 2, and 3a and Basins 1-18. Maintenance activities within Federal Reaches 1, 2, and 3a include: repair of existing concrete structures, access ramps, and roads; vegetation management; and sediment removal. Maintenance activities within Basins 1-18 include: repair of existing concrete structures and riprap; erosion control along earthen banks; repair of existing access ramps and roads; vegetation management within the right-of-way by mowing and non-mechanized vegetation trimming and removal; and sediment removal. Native vegetation on slopes within the facility will be avoided. Maintenance activities will impact a total of 65.26 acres, including 17.55 acres of concrete-lined flood control channel within Federal Reaches 1, 2, and 3a, and 47.71 acres of earthen basins within Basins 1-18.
