Document Description
The Santa Clara Valley Water District is proposing Phase 2 Improvements of its Treated Water Improvement Project at each of the District's three water treatment plants. The purpose of the improvements is to improve the quality of water produced at the plants, and enable the SCVWD to meet anticipated EPA regulations; namely, the State 2 Disinfectant/Disinfection By-Products Rule and Enhance Surface Water Treatment Rule. Additionally, the improvements include structural modifications to existing facilities to improve water treatment plant reliability during a seismic event.
