The revised permit will allow for the continued operation of landfill activities with an increase in tonnage from 1,200 tons per day to a daily average of 2,200 tons per day, and a peak of 3,600 tons per day; define and / or increase the permitted area from 190 acres to 440 acres, define and expand the disposal footprint to be 361 acres; specify the maximum depth to be 145 feet above mean sea level; extend the closure date to 2031; and construction of new cells in accordance with Subtitle D regulatory requirements.
