Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0241-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Caltrans - #7, Paul Caron.
This project is called segment 6 which is one of many segments along the 138 which are being widened. The limits of Segment 6 are from PM 55.2 to 56.2 or 0.75 miles west of 106th Street East to 87th Street East. The Permittee proposes to widen the existing two-lane highway to standard four-lane highway, except for westbound 89th street to 87th which will remain one lane. Caltrans also proposes to standardize the shoulder width to eight feet, and improve sight distance and add a median on the eastern portion of the project. Grubbing and grading within Caltrans right-of-way will be required to accommodate roadway drainage and maintenance access. Grubbing and grading will result in the removal of disturbed and native vegetation.
