The proposed project involves (1) acquisition of temporary and permanent easements from new private property owners, and (2) installation of raw water and treated water pipelines and associated facilities. Specifically, this second component of the project entails the design, construction, and operation of the following four project elements:
(A) A modified 14,700-foot-long up to 48/36-inch raw water supply pipelines, (B) A new 11,800-foot-long 18-inch treated water supply pipeline, (C) A new 100,000-gallon hydraulic control standpipe and 500-foot-long, 36-inch overflow pipe, and (D) A new outlet pipeline that could discharge up to 17 cfs of water from the raw water pipeline to Dutch Ravine. The Supplemental EIR analyzes the potential impacts on environmental factors that may result from the construction and operation of these new project components.
