Document Description
The Russian Convent of Our Lady of Vladimir proposes to develop: (1) a one-story convent building for 18 cloistered nuns; (2) a 46-foot tall chapel for the daily use of the nuns and Sunday visitors; (3) a two-story retreat center containing eight single-occupancy overnight rooms and two living suites for a priest and caretaker, (4) a 24-car gravel parking lot; (5) a 4-car gravel parking lot; and (6) associated septic drainfields and small accessory structures. The parking lots and retreat center would be located in the Skyline State Scenic Corridor. The entire property is under a Williamson Act agricultural preserve contract.
