Document Description
The CDFG has an Agreement Regarding Proposed Stream Alteration (SAA#5-122-99) ("agreement") to the City of Santa Clarita ("applicant") in conjunction with the applicant's proposal to alter the above mentioned drainage to extend Golden Valley Parkway one-mile from Sierra Highway to just south of Soledad Canyon Road as well as to construct a 2,400-student high school on approximately 50 acres, impacting 1.12 acres if stream. Impacts to the streambeds includes: 0.05 acre of Southern Willow Scrub, 0.03 acre Mulefat Scrub; 0.8 acres of Elderberry Scrub, 0.05 acre Walnut Scrub, 0.01 acre of Scrub oak; 0.07 acres of Cottonwood Forest; 0.18 acre of Toyon Scrub, 0.23 acre of Mainland Holly-leaf Cherry Forest; 0.12 acre of unvegetated earthen channel/concrete-lined channel.
The agreement authorizes the applicant to proceed with parts of the project that will impact the above described stream bed and bank pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section1603. This Notice of Determination applies only to CDFG's isssuance of the agreement, and not to the development as a whole.
