Document Description
Proposal to develop an approximately 42,500 square feet community center at the northeast corner of Dunne Avenue and Monterey Road. The project consists of the following applications. Amend General Plan to clarify the status of the Downtown Design Plan as an Area Plan and delete the provision in the Downtown Design Plan calling for the retention of the Morgan Hill School. Amend the circulation element to modify the alignment of Depot Avenue. Amend the General Plan at the northeast corner of Fifth Street and Monterey Road from Public Facilities to mixed use to accommodate Temple Emmanuel church which will be moved to the site Rezone the site at the northeast corner of Diana Avenue and Monterey Road (currently occupied by Temple Emmanuel Church) from central Commercial-Residential (CC-R) to public Facilities to accommodate the proposed community Revised 3-31-99 center. Approval of a use permit for the proposed community center and Temple Emmanuel Church.
