Document Description
The applicant is requesting issuance of a Conditional Use Permit and approval of a mine reclamation plan financial assurances to allow expansion of its current sand and gravel mine by ~355 acres, thereby extending the operational life of the mine from its current expiration date of ~2028 to ~2045. The project also includes a rezoning of the proposed mine expansion area within Placer County to add a Mineral Reserveand Special Purpose combining districts and to add the Special Purpose combining district to the current operation.
