The project is a change in the grading plan of the existing Ostrom Road Landfill to create an additional 29 million cubic yards of airspace capacity and to increase the maximum incoming waste volume to 3,000 tons per day, increase the slope to 3 to 1 and the overall height of the landfill to 265 feet above grade (365 feet amsl).
