Document Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and San Diego Port District have selected the option to deepen the San Diego Bay central navigation channel navigation channel to -42 ft (plus 1.6 to 2 ft overdredge) below MLLW, with 550,000 cubic yards of sediment to be disposed in Imperial Beach nearshore waters (above -30 ft MLLW). The proposed dredging would necessitate the relocation of the SDG&E 69kV electrical cable, between its landfalls at Seaport Village in San Diego to the Ferry Landing Marketplace in Coronado.
