Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (R3-2001-0954) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Phil Rowe / Mardel LLC. This project involves the relocation of approximately 6,500 feet of Vineyard Avenue in Livermore to a new location approximately 1,000 feet north of the existing alignment. At the west end of the project site, Vineyard Avenue will cross an unnamed tributary to Arroyo Del Val below the outfall of an existing 24-inch culvert. The culvert will be extended below the new road. The detention basin will discharge to a 36-inch culvert that will outfall into the unnamed tributary. Rock rip-rap will be placed at the outfall site. The road crossing will require the placing of about 840 square feet of fill over a distance 140 linear feet. An arched culvert road crossing will be constructed near the center of the project site over a second unnamed tributary. Approximately 1,560 square feet of fill will be placed over 180 linear feet of the tributary.
