Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) is proposing to exchange two parcels of land, equal in size, with Newhall Land and Farming Company (NHLF). Metropolitan and NHLF are adjoining landowners in the relevant area, and the exchange is mutually beneficial. Metropolitan's acquired land will be kept vacant to provide an open slope buffer for Metropolitan facilities within the area. NHLF will annex the new parcel to their existing Tract 52455-02 for use as part of its recreation complex.
