The project is a component of the 34.6-acre Bayside Covenant Church Project (Overall Project), which was proposed to be constructed in two phases. Phase I of the Overall Project included the construction of multiple buildings and associated parking lots and is now complete. The activities addressed in this Agreement are part of Phase II of the Overall Project, which consists of the construction of the park/baseball field and associated infrastructure improvements. The activities addressed in this Agreement are limited to the mass grading of the entire 11-acre Phase II project area to allow for the construction of the park/baseball field as well as infrastructure improvements including sewer, storm drain, and domestic water improvements along with topside improvements that require expansion and construction of associated parking lots. The grading will fill all on-site aquatic/wetland habitat areas including a portion of a channelized swale, two areas of seasonal wetland, a seasonal wetland swale, and a water treatment pond. One blue oak tree (Quercus douglassii) will be removed.
