Document Description
On June 27, 2001, the City of Elk Grove ("City") approved the Lent Ranch Marketplace Project ("Project"). The project is to provide approximately 3.1 million square feet of regional mall, general commercial, hotel, entertainment, office and other retail uses and about 280 multi-family residential units. The project would convert approximately 293 acres of Farmland of Statewide Importance to urban uses, an environmental impact deemed significant by the Final Environmental Impact Report that the City previously certified for the Project. The project is not listed on the Hazardous Waste and Substances Sites List as set forth in Government Code Section 65962.5.
