Document Description
The Folsom East Section 3 Extension is a 3.2 mile-lone interceptor extension that would begin at a connection with the Folsom East No. 2 alignment at the Folsom Boulevard/Iron Point Road intersection, continue eastward within the Iron Point Road right of way to a point east of the stormwater detention/retention basins west of Oak Avenue Parkway, where it will join existing sewerage facilities. The pipe will vary in diameter from 36 to 48 inches to adequately serve planned capacity needs in the Folsom East 3 service area. There are two sub-alternatives with the project. Sub-alternative A would follow Iron Point Road and include a pumping station to direct flows uphill. Sub-alternative B would follow Iron Point Road and include gravity flow facilitated by tunneling from east of Prairie City Road to the western boundary of the Broadstone II residential development.
