THE PROJECT INVOLVES SLOPING A 4 FOOT DROP TO THE WATERS EDGE ALONG APPROX 1/4 MILE OF SHORELINE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAKE PERRIS THEN PLANTING WILLOW CUTTINGS AT THE BASE AND MID WAY UP TO THE SLOPE TO STABILIZE THE SLOPE . NO WILLOW CUTTINGS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER MARCH 15 AND WILL BE TAKEN IN SUCH A WAY AS TO NOT OVER STRESS EXISTING WILLOWS.
