HIGH FLOW CONDITIONS RESULTED IN LEVEE FAILURE AT NUMEROUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE LEVEED SYSTEM. THE TOWN OF MERIDIAN WAS THREATENED WITH FLOODING DUE TO A BREACH IN THE SUTTER BYPASS LEVEE. A RING DIKE WAS CONSTRUCTED AROUND THE TOWN.
